Machine Records' earliest releases were all distributed primarily as special CD-R limited editions. We aimed to make each CD-R a work of art in its own right.

These CD-Rs sold well at our shows, which inspired us to create this cheaper and cheerful mix CD-R.

We have seven original 2006 versions of Machine Mix 1, each nestled inside a clear plastic slipcase. They look sweet, but the paper quality is a notch down and the CD-R disc doesn't have the usual full-face printed top.

Thanks to the plastic slipcase and careful storage, it remains in new condition.
